2 Forks / 2 Ferries Next Sunday!

We hope you are ready for our biggest ride of the year! It is not a sightseeing run, per se, so we will be making stops only as needed for Gas and such. We appreciate your suggestions, but you will have plenty of sights to see. Here is the run down…

It starts at 7am in Plainview at Town Bagel. Kickstands up at 730+am
We stop at in Hauppauge at Dunkin Donuts, Kickstands up at 8+am
We head East on the Service Road of the LIE and then North towards 25A
25A east bound to Greenport, where we pick up the North Ferry to Shelter Island.
Lunch on Shelter Island, someplace. Then we tour Shelter Island for a while.
Rt 114 to the Second Ferry to the South Fork on Long Island.
West on Rt 27 and homewards.

Be ready, be prepared, check your fluids, stay hydrated, have an emergency plan, towing and whatever medical precautions you need to take. Make sure you & your bike are up for the challenge. There will be limited highway usage and a 150cc scooter or better is recommended to keep up. We have a long way to go and short time to get there, so the pace of things will proceed accordingly. We want a safe fun ride for everyone and it will take all of us working together to make that happen. Scoot On!

The Sunday Swarm 9/11.

We had a wet but yet well attended Swarm this Sunday. The Rain held off and we got a nice ride to Kings Park & the 9/11 Memorial in-between the rain drops…

Vespa Fest 2022 10/2

The first Scooter NY Area Scooter Rally in over a Decade is coming to Long Island! The 1st Vespa rally in New York. Brought to you by the NYC Vespa Club and it is open to all Scooters! A full day of Vespa pride and joy. Gymkhana competition, slow speed competition. Show and shine, live music, open to all Vespas and lots of scooters!!! It happens on Sun, Oct 02 at Valley Stream Stream State Park, exit 14 west bound ssp. Our official band Strange But Surf is going to supply the live music as well. We have been working with the NYC Vespa Club for months on this to make sure we all have a great time & Scoot On…
