The Constitution & The Hornets…

Today’s Politically charged climate has not escaped The Hornets Scooter Club. We took a trip to talk to one of America’s Founding Fathers, William Floyd. He was one of the signers of The Declaration Of Independence. While we were there we had a Picnic. He has a beautiful Estate that is run by the Federal Government now out by Smith’s Point Park. We went there too and passed by the TWA Flight 800 Memorial We found some long stretches of road that we just gorgeous to travel on. As always our ride is just as cool as the destination. While we were there we asked Mr. Floyd his opinion of the current political scene. His reply was, Scoot on…

THE 2F/2F RIDE!

It looks like the second Sunday of September is good for everyone. If not let us know. Get ready for a long, great day of riding. We have done this ride several times, so we know the ins and outs of it. We will start out early at Town Bagel in Plainview and take 25A to Greenport on Long Island’s North Fork. There we pick up the North Ferry to get on Shelter Island. We ride across Shelter Island, have lunch and go to the South Ferry to get off Shelter island. This leaves on LI’s South Fork. The ride is a long one, so be prepared for a full day of riding. Scoot On…

Welcome New Subscribers…

We have quite a few new Members & Subscribers. This years we are trying to grow the club after the Pandemic. We paused our Wednesday Meet & Eats and didnt do any large rides, This year we are on a roll. Our new sister Club, The Long Island Vespa Club is also attracting new members to out modest little Hive. We do see alot of growth at our Sunday Swarms as well. 16 Scooters & Motorcycles showed up this Sunday. We welcome all new riders, so everyone can, Scoot On…
