Here Now The News…
Another amazing Swarm of Scooters descended upon Town Bagel in Plainview on Sunday morning. About a dozen of us met up at 9 AM. The Weather was iffy but it cleared up fast. Our Swarms are usually not planned and the actual destination is decided in person at the meeting. This way we can plan the ride for who shows up and the capabilities of the rider and Scooters present.
We had 2 Swarms. Sometimes we have so many people and so many places to go that 1 will not do. We went to visit the newest Revzilla location in Brooklyn. Since we ride early, the trip was a non traffic situation and only took 40 minutes! Thanx to Mike and all The Hornets for using their resources to get to Revzilla. (Editor’s note… Roumor has it they were shopping for my Birthday present. LOL)
Even though it seems our Politicians have issues handling Democracy, but not the Hornets. We get together and it is always a group effort when we do decide where and when we scoot. Everyone has a say so. We do have planned rides often so stay tuned to this Blog.
Our Second Swarm was local but was not short. Ahmed first led us on his Monkey and then Bruce took us on an long and winding tour of Long Island’s North Shore. We ended up at a Holocaust Museum in the middle of a forest in Glen Cove.
This Week’s Swarms…
THE PIZZA SWARM 7/20/22 630PM:
We have a new Pizza Swarm location! A new central LI location on Route 110 is our new spot. Our Pizza Swarms try different locations to make it easier for everyone to join in. These are not really group rides, generally. They are designed for to hang out and meet and greet new nd old members alike. This Wednesday at 630PM we will be at La Focaccia, 64 Broadhollow Road in Melville, 11747. Everyone is welcome, including Motorcycles, Cars & whatever you care to Swarm in.
NEW! THE SUNDAY SWARM 7/31/22 9AM:
Every last Sunday of the month we will meet in Suffolk. We will meet at Dunkin’ Donuts at 694 Motor Parkway Hauppauge, NY 11788 at 9am, kickstands up at 10am! I hope this gives more people a chance to scoot with us from Suffolk. The Sunday swarms at Town Bagel will continue as usual. Mm
